Pravalski’s case to be considered by Supreme Court

A Vitsebsk entrepreneur Uladzimir Pravalski has lodged a complaint to the Supreme Court in connection with the CEC’s refusal to register him as a presidential candidate. He had enumerated a number of violations that he thinks were committed by the CEC and has demanded to cancel the decision about his registration failure. BelaPAN reminds that Pravalski’s initiative group announced that it had presented more than 109 thousand signatures to district election committees. However, the check-up conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs proved that the majority of them were not valid. Only 118 signatures collected in support of the entrepreneur were confirmed to be valid at the meeting of the CEC on November 18.

Uladzimir Pravalski has informed that the hearing will take place in the Supreme Court on November 22.
