Political scientist Uladzimir Matskevich summoned to police

Political scientist Uladzimir Matskevich was summoned to Minsk Central District Department of the Interior. Being unable to get there by 12 p.m. on Friday, Matskevich phoned the police. He found out that the police were interested in his presence in the centre of Minsk on October 11. A spontaneous street protest action was held there. Uladzimir Matskevich wrote an ironic letter called ‘Appeal to the police’ on Livejournal in connection with it. You can read it here.
