Policemen disperse demonstrators near Russian Embassy in Minsk
Policemen have not allowed opposition youth to conduct an action dated for the Day of Unity of Russia and Belarus near the Russian Embassy in Minsk.
Three young people approached the building of the diplomatic mission at about 5 p.m. and tried to take out a white-red-white flag, a flag of the European Union and a transparency with the inscription ‘No to Russia! Yes to Europe!”.
However, the young people did not manage to do it because they were immediately blocked by policemen guarding the Russian Embassy. The police detained two people.
They were made to get in police cars and, according to the preliminary information, they were delivered to Minsk Central District Department of the Interior.
