Police in Minsk have dispersed a demonstration of
solidarity with victims of politically motivated persecution. About a hundred of opposition
activists gathered at Kastrychnitskaya
Square in Minsk
displaying images of what the opposition calls political prisoners and
disappeared opposition politicians as well as signs saying, "Free
Political Prisoners," white-red-white and EU flags.
Ten minutes later police used
brutal force to break up the demonstration, Khartyya-97 reported.
