Poland, Sweden call on Russia to withdraw nuke weapons from EU border
Swedish and Polish foreign ministers Karl Bildt and Radoslaw Sikorski have called on Russia to withdraw nuclear weapons from the areas bordering the European Union. In their opinion, nuclear weapons should not be stationed in the Kaliningrad regions and Kolski semi-island, reports Gazeta.pl. The ministers have also called on the Russian Federation and the US to cut the number of tactical nuclear weapons in Europe. Bildt and Sikorski have published their letter in The New York Times.
