Petro Poroshenko to dissolve Rada next week
The Verkhovna Rada will be dissolved and an early election will be appointed on Independence Day – August 24, adviser to the President Oleh Medvedev told Radio Liberty.
“The 30-day term of creation of a new coalition will be over one of these days and the Ukrainian President will get the right to dissolve the Parliament,” he announced.
A packet of major political, economic and social reforms will be discussed in September, Medvedev added. Furthermore, Ukraine’s association agreement with the EU signed in June will be ratified, Ukrinform reports.
