Oppositionists in Brest get respond from authorities to protest resolution

Opposionists in Brest have received responds from the National Assembly and City Hall to their resolution, adopted during a rally on Human RIghts Day.
Activist Uladzimir Vyalichkin told the European Radio for Belarus that one of the main demands in the resolution was to restore order in the housing and utilities services sector. To this, the city authorities responded in a standard way.

Uladzimir Vyalichkin: “The communal services in Brest are provided fully and in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Belarus", they wrote in respond. But these are lies! Residents have to replace bulbs and clean the stairs”.

The resolution also demanded to allow mass events not only at the city stadium Lokomotiv but also in four other locations. But the authorities rejected this proposal.
