Opposition candidates withdraw from elections in Pinsk

Candidate Yury Bahtserau has withdrawn his candidature from the elections and sent an appeal for it to the city election commission. In Bahtserau’ opinion, the election commission does not help the candidate take part in the elections normally.
For example, he did not understand the vague way of creating election commissions, far-fetched registration problems of the candidate and the unfair sortition of the time of radio speeches. Bahtserau is a member of the movement “For Freedom”.

Another alternative candidate Alyaksandr Ramanovich (BNF party) is also planning to withdraw his candidature. He has already been detained by the police twice during the election campaign. The first detention occurred when he received protocols about his nomination for deputy. Then the police searched Ramanovich’s flat and the flat of his friend while making a project of his election leaflets. They said they were looking for counterfeiters.
