One-room flats sold for $32 thousand in Minsk

Minsk house prices continue dropping. The “Komsomolskaya Pradva v Belarusi” newspaper has found a flat for 32 thousand dollars.
At first the owner wanted 38 thousands for it but could not find any buyer for a month and a half and lowered the price.

The edition informed that the cheapest Minsk one-room flats could be bought for 39 thousand dollars at the end of February and for 35 thousands – at the beginning of March.

Let us remind you that the head of the State Control Committee Zyanon Lomats promised to deal with overcharging during a phone intwerview with Minskers on March 4.

Thus, it was found out that one of construction co-operatives overcharged 225 thousand roubles for every square metre. As a result, the flats were 17% more expensive then necessary.
