Number of drug-related crimes increases in CIS and Belarus

The increase in the number of drug-related crimes has been registered in CIS member states. The information bulletin of CIS Statistic Committee testifies to it. A comparative analysis of such crimes in the first half of 2008 and of 2007 is published there.
The increase in the number of the mentioned crimes has been registered in Azerbaijan – by 12%, Belarus and Ukraine – by 6%, Russia –by 3% and Tajikistan – by 2%. The number of drug-related crimes has not changed in Kazakhstan.
