Navumau promises to provide security during parliamentary elections

The Minister of Internal Affaires Uladzimir Navumau thinks that the situation in Belarus will not become more complicated during the parliamentary elections.
At the same time he added that everything would be conducted in a peaceful way and people would understand their responsibility. “They will understand that they should not exercise pressure by organizing meetings”.

He said that he was “sure that some unauthorized action connected with the elections would be organized soon. And they (the opposition) will not wait for the results of the election; they will announce the date of the action where they will express their protest”. At the same time he assured that the police will be able to keep the order during the elections”.
