Myantsyuk sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment; his wife to stand trial tomorrow

Raman Myantsyuk has been sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a colony. The decision has been taken by Minsk District and Zaslauye Court (however, the hearing was organized in Minsk Moscow District Court). The court returned Myantsyuk guilty of a road violation that resulted in severe injuries. Moreover, Raman Myansyuk has been fined for 2.7 and 2 million roubles by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Healthcare respectively. Myantsyuk claimed he would appeal the decision after it had been pronounced, reports “Interfax”.

Let us remind you that Raman Myantsyuk rammed “the live shield” driving inspectors created out of cars with people on Minsk-Miklashevichy highway in March. Then he hid in Russia with his wife Olga. Volha Myantsyuk’s trial will start tomorrow.
