Minsk’s readiness to host world hockey championship to be checked

A member of the Council of the International Hockey Federation and the head of the application commetee Ernest Alyanchich will pay an official visit to Minsk on March 4. He will have to assess the readiness of the Belarusian capital to host the world hockey championship in 2014. Alyanchich is going to study the infrastructure of Minsk and hotels and to look at the construction of “Minsk-Arena”. 

BelTA reminds that Belarus is a candidate for the right to host the world championship alongside with Czechia, Latvia, Hungary and Ukraine. The final voting will take place during the congress of the federation in May.
