Minsk seeks to host 2024 European Athletics Championship

Minsk has submitted a bid seeking to host the European Athletics Championship at its resonctructed Dinamo Arena in 2024, reports minsknews.by. Minsk's rivals as potential host cities are Tampere in Finland, Gothenburg in Sweden and the city of Chorzów in neighboring Poland. The council of the European Athletics Federation in one month will shortlist three contenders to select the winner from later.
