Minsk authorities do not allow UCP to rent room for conference
The city authorities have refused to allow the United Civil Party to rent a room in Minsk International Educational Centre to conduct a republican conference.
At first, all organizational and financial issues were discussed with the administration of MIEC.
The event 130-140 people were going to take part in was supposed to take place on October 4. Representatives of the centre suggested this day themselves.
However, no contract was signed. Representatives of MIEC phoned and apologized that Minsk Executive Committee had forbidden leasing rooms to the UCP.
