Mikola Jermalovic's collection presented in Minsk

The presentation of the Mikola Jermalovic's collection yesterday took place in Minsk.
The book is published by the chairman of the Minsk city cultural club "Spadcyna (Heritage)" Anatol Bely and his fellow club members Anatol Valahanovic and Nadzeia Sarmant.

Jermalovic was born on April 29 1921 in the village of Malyja Navasiolki, Dzerzhinsk district in the Minsk region.

His main scientific achievement was to differintiate the modern Lithuania (Letuva) from the ancient Litva, located between Minsk and Navagrudak to the west and between Maladzecna and Slonim to the north.

Jermalovic also argued against the idea of the Russian pre-revolutionary and Soviet historians that claimed that Lithuanians invaded the Belarusian land in the 13th century.

The scientist died tragically in a car accident on March 5, 2000.
