MFA: Belarusians unhurt in Istanbul twin bomb attack
Belarusians were not affected by the twin bomb attack on Saturday evening in Istanbul, reports BELTA quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
MFA says that by 0300 the Belarus Embassy in Ankara had no reports about the dead or injured among our compatriots.
A twin bomb attack outside a football stadium in the Turkish city of Istanbul killed 38 people, mostly police officers, and injured more than 160 others, the country’s interior minister, Süleyman Soylu, has said, reports The Guardian.
Officials said the attack, which killed more than 30 police officers, was believed to have been orchestrated by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers party and 13 people had been detained overnight.
