MFA: Belarus-US relations are steadily developing

Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a report on the results of Belarus’ foreign policy in 2017, which asesses among other things this country's relations with the United States.

“The relations with the USA are steadily developing,” the report says. “The both sides keep interacting in the spheres of mutual interest: trade, economy, humanitarian aid, professional exchange and fight against the organized crime.” The interaction among experts was intensified last year, the authors of the report note.

A delegation of US congress members arrived in Belarus and met with President Alexander Lukashenka in 2017. The first Belarus-US small and medium-szie business forum was held in the United States.
