Night shooting in Minsk

The black Mercedes was probably shot at with submachine guns, by24.org reports.

The car had Minsk number plates, witnesses say.  It was parked in Arlouskaya Street in front of the pedestrian crossing near Bangalore Square.

A man’s corpse was lying on the median strip lawn face down. It was guarded by several people in plain clothes armed with submachine guns. The armed men were wearing balaclavas. Policemen and people in plain clothes without masks could also be seen at the site.

There were many bullet holes in the right window of the Mercedes, a by24.org reporter claimed. It was either a burst of submachine-gun fire or several people shot at the car. There were at least three holes in the windscreen.

The security agencies have not commented on the incident yet.
