Medvedev wants to attend manoeuvres “West-2009” in Belarus
Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitrii Medvedev will attend military manoeuvres “West-2009” that will be organized on the Belarusian territory on September 29. It has become known during the today’s unofficial meeting of the Belarusian and Russian Presidents in Sochi. According to a Russian President’s assistant Sergei Prihodko, Medvedev has confirmed his intention to take part in a meeting of the international council of EurAsEC on November 27. An agreement on a special Russian-Belarusian meeting that will take place during the summit has been reached in Sochi.
