Media council to discuss distribution issues

Members of the Public Coordinating Council for the Media will discuss distribution issues at their next meeting.
About a dozen of Belarusian periodicals have no access to state-monopolized retail and subscription distribution systems.

The Council has recommended that distributors and editors of the blacklisted papers meet to find a common ground.

Formed in October 2008, the 13-member Council is led by Pavel Yakubovich, editor in chief of the government-controlled newspaper Sovetskaya Belorussiya.
