Man returns extra Br 53 mln to bank teller in Minsk (photo, video)

The incident happened in the morning of March 29 in a bank branch in Prytytski Street. According to the information provided by Minsk police press-center, a client came to exchange 600 euros for Belarusian roubles. The teller (an experienced worker) gave him 60 million instead of 6 million 600 thousand. The man took the money and left.

One hour later, the lack of money was revealed. The bank's security service provided a video-record from the police surveillance cameras. The law-enforcement agencies urged the man or the people who knew him to contact them.

On Tuesday night, the man returned the money to the bank. He wished not to disclaim his identity and asked the teller to recall her statement from the police.
