Malady Front denied registration

The Belarus's Justice Ministry today rejected a registration application from the Malady Front youth group, citing alleged flaws in the organization's statutes. Malady Front described the Justice Ministry's denial as completely illegitimate and said it would appeal the decision next Monday.
On May 28 at 1000, the Sovietski district court (Lagojski Trakt,3) in Minsk will start hearing the criminal case of several members of the Malady Front: Zmicier Khvedaruk, Aleg Korban, Nasta Palazhenka, Barys Haretski and Aliaksej Janusheuski.

The young activists are charged with taking part in an unregistered organization. Aliaksej Janusheuski fled to the Czech Republic in late April, trying to escape criminal prosecition, reports the press office of the Malady Front.
