Lukashenka: Who allowed rushing into Orsha District Executive Committee head’s house?

Alyaksandr Lukashenka met with head of the Investigation Committee Ivan Naskevich on Monday and commented on the scandal connected with the head of Orsha District Executive Committee. Leanid Pyankouski was appointed to the position in May 2017. His house was searched by the police a few days later.

“Who allowed rushing into the house belonging to a man appointed by the President?” BELTA quotes Lukashenka as saying “The police must get the President’s consent before investigating something about the President’s personnel.”

Alyaksandr Lukashenka did not specify which police department offended the official. “The police rushed in and started finding out some details,” he said. “A new person has got down to work. And they have stigmatized him. It is a bad signal,” the President told Naskevich. He ordered him to study the situation personally and assess it ‘like a real man’.
