Lukashenka: We have to change methods of warfare (video)

On February 19, Alyaksandr Lukashenka visited the Ministry of Defense of Belarus. The main topic of the visit was the development of the Armed Forces in current conditions. The Head of State recalled the "very tense situation" that has developed around our country, and said that the Belarusian army should adapt to it.

Lukashenka: "The conditions are changing, though not dramatically, but we can see what's going on at the so-called theater of operations because of the conflicts of which there are plenty. We study them and, of course, cannot fail to respond, given the situation. We have to adapt to the situation, change the methods of warfare, if we need to defend the country."

According to Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the Belarusian army "should adequately respond to the current challenges and threats". He stressed that it needs the funding which is relevant today.

The head of state regards the Armed Forces of Belarus as an "adequate mobile army", BelTA reports.
