Lukashenka in St Petersburg to discuss CIS reforms

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenka today is taking part in an informal summit meeting of the head of the states of the Commonwealth of the Independent States (CIS), which is taking place in the Russian northern city of St Petersburg.  The presidents also take part in the plenary sessions of the international economic forum. According to Interfax, the heads of the state arrived to the city at a launch boat together with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The informal summit is expected to focus on the much talked about reform of the regional former Soviet grouping.
