Lukashenka signs package on CSTO troops

A package on CSTO troops signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka has arrived in the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). As “Interfax” notes, the package contains an agreement on the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, the decision of the CSTO Council on the composition of military troops and two documents concerning the staff structure of the Secretariat and the United headquarters.

Let us remind you that these documents were signed by leaders of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia and Tajikistan at the CSTO meeting on June 14, 2009. Uzbekistan expressed its own opinion about a number of paragraphs then and the Belarusian delegation did not attend the CSTO meeting due to “the milk war” between Belarus and Russia.
