Lukashenka reminds Yushchenko about Black Sea-Baltic sea "corridor" plan

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenka is meeting his Ukraine's counterpart Victor Yushchenko in the Ukrainian city of Chernigov.
Lukashenka noted "there is a number of issues that we could not resolve before but are able to have them resolved today". Lukashenka also reminded about Ukrainian president's roposal to create "a corridor between the Black and Baltic seas. "We are ready to work with you and the Baltic countries in this direction", the Belarusian leader said.

Belarus' first deputy prime minister Uladzimir Syamashka later explained journalists that the sides discussed a possible transit of the Ukrainian electricity through Belarus to the Baltic states. The presidents reportedly did not discuss a project of the oil pipeline from Odessa to Brody.

Alexander Lukashenka also invited Victor Yushchenko to visit Belarus, reports the Interfax news agency.
