Lukashenka offers subsidies to state broadcasters

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has authorized subsidies to the ONT and STV television channels and advised the Minsk city government to exempt STV from local taxes. The subsidy will be equivalent to profit and value-added tax that the channels will pay into the state budget until 2013.
