Lukashenka brings up devaluation in Kazakhstan

On 12 December, Alyaksandr Lukashenka demanded to diversify exports and actively seek new markets. Meeting with Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey, the head of state said that every ambassador has to deal with the problems of exports, "particularly with regard to what is happening in the Russian market".

"This is our main market, almost half of the products that we produce are sold there," BELTA quoted Alyaksandr Lukashenka "And you see what is happening there. In Kazakhstan the situation is also difficult, they recently devalued their currency. The broken Ukraine is also one of our key markets."

Lukashenka stressed that "the diversification of exports, the search for new markets is an issue of paramount importance, a matter of survival of our country, and we should proceed from there, especially, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."

To solve this problem, the head of Belarus ordered to use all the available resources.
