Lukashenka to meet Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif today
The Belarusian President’s two-day visit to Pakistan continues.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka is paying a two-day visit to Pakistan. He met President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Thursday (in the photo). The Belarusian leader mentioned the successful cooperation and problems of the two states.
Lukashenka: “Our relations are developing very well. We have almost no problems in the political sphere; we cooperate in international organizations and support one another. I think that we should continue doing it… We still need to work a lot in the economic sphere.”
Belarus is hoping to increase the supplies of domestic products to Pakistan soon.
The Belarusian leader will meet with PM Nawaz Sharif (who met Lukashenka at the airport) on Friday. A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed.
