Minsk hosts high-ranking Catholic priests from Europe
The meeting will be organized in Minsk Independence Palace on Thursday.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka will meet the participants of the plenary meeting of the Council of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe on September 28. The event will be opened at Minsk City Hall today and will end on October 1. Catholic bishops will meet Lukashenka in the independence Palace, the President’s press service reports.
A plenary meeting of the Council of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe is held in Belarus every year. This is the main event organized by the Catholic Church on the continent. Representatives of 45 states have arrived in Minsk. They will discuss youth problems and Europe as our common home.
