Lukashenka, Medvedev and Nazarbayev to launch Customs Union in July

The Customs Union of the three states will come into power on July 6.
The Interstate Council of the EurAsEC has decided to launch the Customs Union in July. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has claimed it at the summit in Astana today, informs BelTA.

He reminded that the Single customs tariff would be introduced in the Customs Union and that the agreement about the Customs Code had been signed. The next integration stage is to be discussed now – the creation of the legal basis of the Common Economic Space.

According to BelaPAN, the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has informed at a press conference in Astana that the Customs Code of the three states will come into power on July 6. It came into power for Russia and Kazakhstan on July 1.
