Lukashenka hopes for breakthrough in relations with Ukraine

Belarus president Alexander Lukashenka met Ukraine's president Victor Yushchenko today in the Moldovan capital of Chisiniau which hosted the summit of the Council of the heads of the state of CIS member states. Lukashenka said in Moldova that he expected a serious breakthrough in relations with Ukraine in the coming month or two. Belta news agency reported that the head of Belarus proposed Victor Yushchenko to agree on the meeting in the near time in order to discuss all the issues that had accumulated.
