Lukashenka criticizes Eurovision for bias (video)
Belarus president branded the Eurovision song contest as 'biased' during his visit to Belarusian State Agrarian University on April 30.
"I am anxious about this contest more than you are although I understand everything that is going on there - it is concealed from you. It is a biased contest. Any state can give you any number of points and all that you see on your screens is just a show,” BelTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
Countries mostly vote for their neighbours during Eurovision, the Belarusian President said. That is why you need something special to win: “This contest is a bit biased and it is almost impossible for Belarusians to win. I do not know what should happen so that we won.”
Alyona Lanskaya has everything to win at Eurovision and her song is one of the best, Lukashenka noted.
