Lukashenka considers EU terms unacceptable
Alyaksandr Lukashenka thinks that the European Union suggests unacceptable terms for a dialogue with Belarus.
“Europe does not want to normalize relations with Belarus because they have run too far and cannot get out of it without losing their face”, - claimed Lukashenka in his interview with a Spanish newspaper “El Pais” in Minsk.
“If the European Union is determined to do it we will be able to start a dialogue to be closer. We would like it to happen but the European Union suggests unacceptable terms”, - said the Belarusian President, reports “Interfax”.
Let us remind you that the European Union demands that the Belarusian authorities should release all political prisoners - Alyaksandr Kazulin, Zmitser Dashkevich, Artur Finkevich and Andrei Klimau and that they should stop persecution of opposition members. This term is the most important issue to be fulfilled before a dialogue between the EU and Belarus can start.
