Lukashenka claims he was among Lithuania's independence supporters
In an interview with Lithunian media, Alexander Lukashenka said he was among those who supported Lithuania's independence from the Soviet Union, reports delfi.ru.
"Do you know where Lukashenka was in the most difficult moment when there were shootings in Vilnius? I was in Vilnius at the Supreme Council. Through barricades we were getting through to to the parliament to express solidarity to Vitautas Landsbergis. We want peace for Lithuania, Lukashenka said.
