Lukashenka: $200-240 is an unacceptable gas price

In an interview with the managers of Belarus' leading media, Alexander Lukashenka described as unacceptable the cost of the Russian gas at the level of $200-245 per 1000 cubic meters. He noted that on December 22 this issue would be discussed during a meeting with the Russian president in Moscow. He used Germany as an example which pays $240 for the Russian gas three thousand kilometers from the Russian border. In the view of Lukashenka, the same price of gas for Belarus looks unacceptable. Since the world oil prices have dropped three times, the cost of gas should be reduced as well, according to Lukashenka.
