Lithuania's 1000 years marked at Millenium exhibition in Belarus

An art exhibition Millenum opened at the Arts Palace in Minsk on October 22. The exposition showcases nearly 1000 art works authored by over 300 people. It is dedicated to 1000 years of Lithuania. The millenium is our common celebration with the neighboring people which share the same history with Belarusians, reminds Charter'97. Aliksei Marachkin, director of the Pahonia creative association which organized the exhibition, noted that Millenium was made possible by Belarusian artists only. The ministry of culture contributed no cent in the project.

The exhibition will be open through November 15.
