Lithuanians see Belarus as unfriendly country

The poll carried out by the Vilmorus Center for Social and Market Studies said the majority of the polled Lithuanians preferred the Western political course, writes Lithuanian Courier web-based newspaper. Over 60 percent of the respondents evaluated positively the political style of the Western Europe and the United States.

60 percent of those polls desrived the political course of Belarus as negative against 10 percent of those, mostly ethnic Belarusians and Russians, describing the developments in Belarus in a positive way.

Lithuania's best friends: Latvia (61%), Poland (53%) and Estonia (45%). Russia tops the most unfrienly list with 62% followed by Belarus (50%).
