Lithuania ready to invest about one billion dollars in Belarusian economy

It was stated at the meeting of the Belarusian and Lithuanian Prime Ministers Gedymin Kirkilas and Syarhei Sidorski in Vilnius on October 3, reports the press service of the Belarusian government. Kіrkіlas informed that Lithuanian companies had asked him to give the Belarusian government information about their readiness to invest in our country’s economy. Lithuania is interested in the Belarusian experience in energy saving.

The Prime Ministers agreed on the construction of a plant producing formaldehyde pitch in Belarus. It is the main component in the production of materials for the woodworking industry.
