Lay-offs not expected in Belarus

Pyotr Hrushnik, deputy minister of labor and social security, said the ministry does not forecast mass lay-offs in the near future, BelaPAN reported.  

Belarus' unemployment rate stood at 0.9 percent as of July 1.
