Lateral troop movement of Miklashevich and Vasilevich – the beginning, new changes are expected

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has appointed a new Attorney General and the head of the Constitutional Court. Ryhor Vasilevich and Pyotr Miklashevich have exchanged their chairs. A deputy of the House of Representatives says that a new multi-step combination was started and that new changes were to be expected. ERB asked Belarusian politicians to comment on it. This is what a deputy of the House of Representatives and the leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Belarus Syarhei Haidukevich thinks about Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s decision:

“I knew it. There will be certain changes…. There are some changes that Belarusian side needs to perform during multi-step combinations including staff changes. There have to be some processes we want to achieve”.

The leader of the Movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Milinkevich is sure that we should not expect any changes after this lateral troop movement:

“I am not authorities and I do not know what their intention is. It is difficult for me to say what it means. Time will show how everyone will behave. Administration of Justice obeys to orders of the executive power in our country. This is the main problem. So everyone will be obeying to orders of the President’s Administration regardless of their post”.
