Kyrgyzstan to join EaEC soon

Kyrgyzstan will join the Eurasian Economic Union within the next few days, Minister of integration and Macroeconomics for the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya announced. She is an acting head for the Collegiums of the Economic Commission.

The ratification procedure is over, she said. The Eurasian Economic Commission is waiting for the last note from Kazakhstan now. When it is sent, Kyrgyzstan will become a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, BelaPAN reports.

“We expect it to happen within the next few days. All the necessary ethnical procedures are being carried out now so that everything including the customs control procedure is ready when the note is received,” Valovaya noted.
