Абаронцы Курапатаў згортваюць лагер

The defenders of Kurapaty, a memorial to the victims of executions by the Stalin's secret police in the late 1930s in a Minsk suburb, on Monday March 6 began to dismantle their tent camp. The defense had lasted for two weeks.

The moves follows the decision by the Belrekanstrukcyja company to halt works to construct a business center in the Kurapaty protected area. The builders promised to withdraw completely and flatten the ground on Monday.

The leader of the Czech Republic-registerred Young Front Zmicier Dashkevich, it is for the first time when Young Front activists pull out by their own will. However, he did not rule out they would return if construction works are resumed.
