Kosovo introduces visa regime for Belarus
...and for 86 other countries. Kosovo MFA Enver Hoxhaj has informed this in his Twitter.
According to him, the visa regime will help to protect Kosovo from human trafficking and illegal migration.
According to Interfax-West, in order to enter Kosovo, citizens of the following countries will have to get visas: Europe - Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, and a series of Asian and African states, including Egypt, India, China, Pakistan and Indonesia.
Kosovo is a Serbian autonomy, populated by the Albanian majority, declared independence from Belgrade back in 2008. Several dozens European countries, the Arab world, the USA, Australia and New Zealand recognized its independence. Belarus, Serbia and Russia did not recognize the independence of Kosovo.
