Knights’ festival starts near Homel
A knights’ festival “Old Castle” started near Sady station not far from Homel on August 1. The programme of the three-day event includes performances and knights’ tournaments, a mass battle, a medieval conversation and ancient dances.
The head of the historical reconstruction club “Old Castle” Lyudmila Pyatrouskaya informed BelaPAN that about 40 people from Minsk, Homel, Mahileu, Brest, Mazyr and Rechytsa were going to take part in the festival. A Homel club “Old Castle” usually conducts the festival every August. This is the fourth festival.
