July 4 blast suspect released

Alexander Koryk, 21 who was detained by the police on September 30 as a suspect in the July 4 explosion case, today was released from the police detention.
The young man himself came to police detectives and reported about one case that occurred a couple of weeks before the explosion. During the summer break, Koryk worked as a merchandiser at Vladprodimport which imports Sadochok juice a pack of which was used to make the bomb. Once on his way back home from work, some uknown men asked him for a smoke. To thank him for several cigarettes, the men allegedly advised the youngster to leave the city, because explosions would take place in Minsk.

Before being released, Koryk made a written promise not to reveal the details of the investigation and not to leave the country. During 10 days in detention, he was questioned only once for not more than five minutes.
