Japanese animation cinema week in Hrodna

The week of the Japanese animation cinema is taking place for the first time in the Belarusian city of Hrodna. The festival is organized by Association to Study the Japanese Culture "Genshyken" in collaboration with the Hrodna Cinema and Video.
The festival will take place through December 1 in the small hall of the October movies theater in Hrodna. It took the local amateurs of the Japanese cinema one year to prepare the event. They translated animations and held talks with the culture department at Hrodna City Hall.

The movie theater agreed to sell tickets at a very low price (Br1000-1500). Natalya Volkava of Genshyken says they have already received several proposals from the Minsk-based cinemas to stage a similar event in the capital.
