Israeli presents computers to Belarus rural school

Israeli citizen Avner Yanay who lives in the United States has presented computer equipment worth Br20 million to the Lenian secondary school, said Bella Velikovskaya, the executive director of the Jewish Religious Association in Belarus.
His grandfather Avner Golub was born in the village of Lenina, Belarus but later moved to Palestine. One hundred years later his grandson came to the motherland of his grandfather, reports Belapan.

The visit took place in the fall of 2007 and was organized by the Jewish Religious Association which helps connect with the Belarus-born Jews. Yanay plans to visit Belarus in spring together with his parents who live in Israel.
